YES WE CAN
If you know of member who has let his or her membership lapse, extend your hand to that brother or sister. Many times all they need is a little encouragement to become an active member once again. It's up to all of us to retain our members. All to often we dont give our brothers or sisters the chance to talk about themselves and what they want. It is just as easy to listen as it is to speak. Remember, it isnt always about us, but it is about "ALL" of us.
DON'T LET MEMBERS THROW AWAY THE BENEFITS THEY RECEIVED WHEN THEY BECAME MEMBER OF THE LOYAL ORDER OF MOOSE OR THE WOMEN OF THE MOOSE. IT IS UP TO ALL OF US TO MAKE EVERY EFFORT TO RETAIN ALL MEMBERS ALONG WITH SPONSORING NEW ONES.
To our members, when your dues is about to be renewed you will receive an invoice from Moose Int'l Membership. As soon as you receive that renewal notice, send it in. At the Chicago National Convention it was announced that only the initial invoice will be sent to members concerning renewal. In the past members have been receiving a second notice, this practice will be discontinued. Also, your membership card will have a new look.
There are several ways you can submit your yearly dues. You can pay via the invoice with a check or credit card or you can go online and pay your dues through the Dues Payment link. We have found that the turn around for receiving your new card is much faster this way by paying online. Normally you will receive this notice about 2 months before your dues expires.
Many times members do not receive their notices of renewal because their contact information has changed and did not contact the Lodge or Chapter with those changes. In some cases members have paid their dues but because their contact information was wrong, they do not receive their new membership card. It was returned to Moose Int'l.
If the above has happened to you, not receiving your dues notice or your new card, contact the Lodge Administrator or the Chapter Recorder. They are there to assist you. Just dont let it go. If there is any doubt when your membership expires, look at your card, it willl tell you.
Remember, once you become an inactive member, you forfeit all your rights and privileges that were afforded to you as a member of the Royal Order of Moose.
SO....maintain your good standing in the Loyal Order of Moose or the Women of the Moose by keeping your dues current.
Remember, listening is a quality that we sometime take for granted and by not listening to others, we could be driving them away. What members are saying may not seem important to you, but it is to them. Their voice is just as important as any other's.
It is up to all of us to keep our fraternity strong and retaining members is the best way to accomplish that.

AND OUR NEW CHAPTER 1515 MEMBERS
This Moose Fraternity takes care of children from this country. We do not sent our money to other countries. We take care of our own. We house and school hundreds of children each year, and 80%, are sent to college as you know there is a great cost involved. 10% are taught a vocation and the other 10% yearly join the military and today are fighting around the world for your freedom.
How can we let these boys and girls down?
Applications fees are only $20.00. Dues are only $45.00 of which $30.00 goes to Moose International and $.50 goes to the Florida Bermuda Moose Association and we are left with only $14.50 to support the lodge and our community projects. Total $65.00
The "Child City will be 100 years old soon and we have helped almost 12,000 children in need who have been raise their. We seem to donate more to other countries these days but its time to take care of our own. We need your help.
By signing a member you can make a difference.
Where will these unwanted children go if we have to close our "Child City" Mooseheart.
We wish to thank you on there behalf.
In this world we live in we can not fail our children. You can pay your dues or get an application on line by going to: www.mooseintl.org or go to links on our web page click the pay dues bar, enter the MID number on your expired dues card, click and follow the instructions

REACH OUT AND HELP A LOST MEMBER Do you know someone who has become a LOST MEMBER.....if so, why not reach out to that LOST member and find out why he or she didn't renew their membership. Experience has shown us that the majority of Moose members that are LOST, occurs at the end of their first year of membership. They either have lost interest, haven't been properly informed as to what the Moose is all about or....they have been left to fend for themselves. It is up to each and everyone of us to make sure that those new members are made to feel welcomed and part of the Organization. What does it take when seeing a member entering the Family Center to just say, "Hi, how you doing, glad to see you again" . A simple smile and greeting goes a very, very long way. Maybe sit next to that member, talk a little, get to know him or her, make them feel like they are truly part of the family. All members should remember that you will only receive one(1) dues notice. If you aren't sure when your dues expires, look at your membership card, the expiration date is on it. You can easily renew your dues online or simply mail your dues in along with your dues renewal invoice. Don't you become a LOST MEMBER .....and don't let others become LOST... We should all re-aquaint ourselves with what being a Moose member is all about and the oath we took when we became a member. Go to the links provided on the links page, view the videos about the Child City, Moosehaven, GIMME5, and the Moose Fraternity. Take a few minutes and watch these videos. It is a great way to rekindle your desire to remain a part of this great organization and HELP.... Remember, someone took the time to give you the gift of being a Moose member, so Pay It Foward. Sponsor a relative, a friend, a co-worker, and above all stay in contact with those you brought into the Moose. Most of all, keep the fire burning in your heart for our Children at Mooseheart and our Seniors at Moosehaven. AGAIN, DON'T BECOME A LOST MEMBER..... Fraternally Wm Mulligan
