THE CHAPTER IS OFFERING LIFE MEMBERSHIPS AT $250.00 UNTIL APRIL 30, 2010. THAT'S A SAVINGS OF $150.00. A LIFE MEMBERSHIP IS YOUR HEDGE AGAINST INFLATION. YOU WILL NEVER HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT GETTING BEHIND IN YOUR DUES AGAIN. YOU WILL BE AHEAD OF THE GAME AND YOU DON'T HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT DUES GOING UP. I'M GOING TO BE ONE OF THE FIRST ONES TO SIGN UP FOR IT.
THE MENU FOR THE 27TH SCHOLARSHIP AUCTION IS GOING TO BE SPIRAL HAM WITH ALL THE SIDES IN LIEU OF THE ROAST PORK I HAD PLANNED. I THINK WE WILL PROBABLY OFFER EITHER A BAKED POTATO OR A SWEET POTATO DEPENDING ON THE COST OF THE SWEET POTATOES AT THE TIME OF THE DINNER. THE BAND IS GREAT - KENNY AND THE DEPENDS - THEY PLAY REAL OLD TIME DANCE MUSIC. THIS DINNER IS FOR OUR NEW CO-JR. GRAD REGENT, RUTH MILLER FOR HER WAYS AND MEANS COMMITTEE. COME ON IN AND SUPPORT HER AND DOROTHY OUR OTHER JR. GRAD REGENT.

Remember Everett is having the Scholarship Auction on the 27th and the women are putting on the dinner that night. We are having baked ham, cole slaw, baked potato, baked beans, bread and dessert for $7.00. No way you can eat anywhere else for this good home cooked mean. The tickets are available at the bar.$7.00
We really need to work on the delinquent members. If you know any of these former members please contact them. If they will write us, we may be able to help them if they are unable to pay their dues because of economic circumstances.

There was one more but she lives in California so didn't figure she would renew here at any rate. I've sent all but the January delinquents letters at least twice.
Those are just from the last 2 months. Over all we have had over 40 members who are delinquent since May 2009.
The chapter can help the needy - we just need the circumstances. One of the deciding factors will be how active you are in the Chapter and how long you have been a member.

Dear Co-Workers:Our Chapter has begun a new year, and we have a new and exciting membership drive that we hope you will support and join in. By sponsoring new members, you will not only be supporting Mooseheart and Moosehaven, but possibly even earning a paid lifetime membership valued at $400.00. Please see the list below that shows what each member you sign up can earn you.
Sign up …….
1 new member – Mooseheart sends you a pin with the new membership theme for the year.
2 new members – Chapter awards the Chapter pin with chain from Mooseheart.
3 new members - Chapter awards a new Chapter heart pin from Mooseheart.
5 new members – Moose International awards you a card for the “5” Club.
The Chapter will award the Sponsor with the Gimme 5 Neck Wallet.
10 new members – Chapter awards the Sponsor with the Moose Portable Bar-B-Q set.
15 new members – Chapter pays your membership dues for the next year.
25 new members – Moose International will send the member a gold pendant
and framed 25 Club Certificate.
THE CHAPTER WILL AWARD A PAID LIFE TIME MEMBERSHIP
Also, if a member gives a sponsorship to another Co-Worker who is working on their personal honors…The giving member will be credited as having the new member for the membership drive and will count toward any awards.
This Membership Campaign runs from May 1, 2009 to April 30, 2010!
